latest. >> reporter: good morning. lawyers for d.c.'s transit system told the judge that the fbi was investigating a threat of violence if those ads went up in the d.c. subway system. but the judge ordered that they go up by 5:00 today citing the first amendment. the ads paid for by the american freedom defense initiative say, quote, in any war between civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. support israel. defeat jihad. many say they are poconosive because they equate muslims with savages. citing those concerns from the fbi being metro wantedded to delay displaying the ads until the protests in the middle east subsided. metro riders have mixed feelings about the court forcing the transit system to display them. >> you have the right to say it. it doesn't mean you have to say it. >> i believe that even though it might be going up in the d.c. area, other countries will look at the united states and be like why are you allowing

sentenced tomorrow. he has been in isolation at the pennsylvania prison since june when he was convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse. sandusky's attorney believes the 6 #-year-old will spend the rest of his life behind bars. the number of rare meningitis cases linked to a tainted steroid treatment has now risen to 91, spanning nain streets appears killing seven. another case is reported in maryland this weekends bringing total there to three. eighteen cases have been reported in virginia with one death in each state. the massachusetts pharmacy linked to product issued a voluntary recall. hugo chavez has been re- elected. nearly 81% of registered vote are took part. chavez has held the post nearly 14 years. this is his third re-election. the nats make their mark and rg iii takes a hard hit. we'll have more on that coming

welcome back. stocks get a bounce from friday's jobs report but this week could be tough for investors. lauren simonetti has this morning's business beat. good morning to you. happy monday. >> hello. happy monday, wisdom. >> let's talk about the jobs numbers and the impact they had friday on the markets. >> it was a mixed report. yes, the unemployment rate fell to 7.8% but with the two different surveys, the numbers were volatile and confusing for many. this is open to interpretation. for last week, really strong week for stocks. the dow industrials are going to open today, this columbus day, stock markets are open, bond markets are closed. they will open at a five-year high. that is the problem. many people are saying the fuel that has lifted this rally

case and seven people have died. mary ann rafferty has more. >> reporter: the steroid injects is believed to have originated from the new england compounding center in massachusetts. there are 91 confirmed cases of mungal men i think juvenile diabetes we are investigating an unusual outbreak of meningitis. >> more than 17,000 vials of contaminate steroid have been ship touted nearly 100 facilities in 23 states. despite the number, only a select portion of the population may be infect. >> five got any kind of steroid injects between july of this year and september 28th, you need to be aware of this. >> reporter: one indiana woman was informed the steroid inject she received may have been contaminated. now, she is nervously anticipating the outcome of her test results. >> i had a very severe headache that i couldn't get up out of bed and it hasn't went away yet. the worry from die to day, it is just nerve wracking. >> meningitis is treatable if

making headlines in california this morning, the average price identify gallon of gas there is now 84 cents

>> reporter: good morning, everybody. i'm holly morris. believe it or not, we are coming to you live from hollywood on this monday morning. okay. i have a polar fleece and scarf on, so clearly i'm not in hollywood, california. we are in hollywood, maryland on the water enjoying a beautiful sunrise. we're here to talk about oysters. chesapeake bay has a long history of the oyster industry. we'll talk about that. we're going to talk about how the industry is back. and that is due in part because of things called the oyster recovery partnership. we're live at hollywood oyster this morning. we're going to talk about how they are part of that process, how they are part of the oyster farming process and the health of the chesapeake bay in terms of oysters now. it also happens to be from the

bay, for the bay week, which means if you eat in the d.c. area, you order maryland seafood, parts of the proceeds will help support oyster recovery. because of that, we have a chef coming all the way from d.c. to here. he is the chef at pearl dive oyster palace in d.c. he'll cook up a little oysters, tell us how best to eat them. we're clearly in the right spot. i don't know if you know this, but st. mary's county, every year they host the oyster shucking contest, the national, and the oyster cookoffs in terms of national as well. road trip was worth it. >> oyster stew to stay warm out there. >> she's got all the information for you. >> thanks, holly. time for our facebook fan of the day. we say hello to thomas. thomas tills us waking up to fox 5 has been his family's
